Gift Card & Wrapping

Sending as a gift?  Make it even more special with our available gift options…

Gift Card:  We offer to include a FREE gift card with your purchase.  Your personal message will be hand-written on one of our beautiful folded cards, sealed in an envelope and placed at the top of the parcel.  You can select this option and add your message during the checkout process.

Gift Wrap:  Your order will be carefully wrapped in a lovely neutral paper and finished with a red bow in keeping with our style.  Our gift wrapping service is $5 and you can select this option during the checkout process.

Your gift will display no prices, including the packing slip it is shipped with.

Delivery & Returns

Australian Delivery Options

We have the following 2 options for delivery in Australia.
FREE DELIVERY:  This is a service provided by Australia Post and will take 2 to 7 working days to arrive at its destination, maybe 1 or 2 more for more remote areas.  There is basic tracking included in this service, if you have not received your parcel within this timeframe, please email hello@lilcreatures.com.au and we will follow it up with Australia Post and let you know what is happening.
EXPRESS DELIVERY: This is a service provided by Australia Post and will take 1 to 2 working days to arrive at its destination, maybe more for more remote areas.  There is tracking included in this service.  Your tracking number will be emailed to you when your order is shipped and can be tracked here: www.auspost.com.au/track

These delivery times are an estimate only as we use a third party supplier for all deliveries and as such Lil’ Creatures cannot be held responsible for late deliveries or loss or damage relating to late deliveries.
On occasion we will use a reputable courier service for deliveries. Tracking will always be available in these circumstances.
If the customer has requested the parcel to be left unattended at the destination then all liability falls to the customer.

International Delivery Options

We have the following 3 options for delivering internationally from Australia.  All prices are indicative of the prices we are charged directly by Australia Post.

ECONOMY AIRMAIL:  This is a service provided by Australia Post and will take up to 6 to 11+ working days to arrive at its destination, maybe 1 or 2 more for more remote areas.  There is no tracking included in this service.
 This service is not available to all countries, if you have selected this service and it is not available to your country, you will be emailed before your parcel is sent with what options are available instead.
 Liability for lost parcels falls to the customer, proof of lodgement with the post office will be provided.

TRACKED AIRMAIL: This is a service provided by Australia Post and will take 5 to 10+ working days to arrive at its destination, maybe 1 or 2 more for more remote areas.  There is tracking included in this service.  Your tracking number will be in our records, please email if you have not received your parcel within the given time-frame and we will follow it up straight away.
 This service is not available to all countries, if you have selected this service and it is not available to your country, you will be emailed before your parcel is sent with what options are available instead.
 Liability for lost parcels (more than 15 working days overdue) falls to Lil’ Creatures up to AUD$100

EXPRESS AIRMAIL:  This service is usually provided by Australia Post (in certain circumstances we will use a different courier that provides a similar service) and will take 2 to 6 working days to arrive at its destination, maybe 1 or 2 more for more remote areas.  There is tracking included in this service. Your tracking number will be in our records, please email if you have not received your parcel within the given time-frame and we will follow it up straight away.
This service is not available to all countries, if there is an issue with this you will be emailed before your parcel is sent with what options are available instead.
Standard delivery times between metropolitan areas of major cities, excludes time in customs if applicable and may be subject to delay due to causes outside of Australia Post’s control.
 Liability for lost parcels (more than 5 working days overdue) falls to Lil’ Creatures up to AUD$100.

How much does delivery cost?

We have 5 shipping options, the prices are listed below.  Please see the answers above in either Australian Shipping Options or International Shipping Options for more information about each.

AUSTRALIAN Free Delivery: FREE!
AUSTRALIAN Express Delivery: $10

INTERNATIONAL Economy Airmail: $10 – $21
INTERNATIONAL Tracked Airmail: $19 – $28
INTERNATIONAL Express Airmail: $28 – $56

Is there tracking on my parcel?

Can I pick up my order?

Lil’ Creatures is located in Newcastle, NSW, so if you are close by just pop me an email to carly@lilcreatures.com.au and we can organise a time that works for pick up or even delivery.

How long will my parcel take to arrive?

We usually process orders and dispatch three times each week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Express shipping options will be sent on the same or next business day.

Christmas / Halloween / Easter / Birthday is close, is there delivery cut off dates?

To be on the safe side, if you want your order to arrive in time for Christmas / Halloween / Easter / Birthday etc. please follow these cut off dates, if you order after these dates you run the risk of your Lil’ Creatures missing the big day.

Australia wide: Order at least 10 days prior to the date needed.

International: Order at least 21 days prior to the date needed.

We have express options now available also, please see above in either Australian Shipping Options or International Shipping Options for more information.

 Although we have taken this information from Australia Post themselves, we can’t control what happens after we send it, so it’s a good idea to get your orders in early to avoid any last minute stress and possible disappointment.

Undelivered orders information

In the event where the parcel wasn’t able to be delivered or was not collected from the post office within the time-frame Australia Post allows (5 working days) and the parcel is returned to Lil’ Creatures, the cost of re-sending the parcel to the customer will fall to the customer.
Lil’ Creatures accepts no liability for parcels left unattended.

Other shipping notes

The prices within the online store DO NOT include relevant overseas duties and other customs charges you may incur. All customs charges are the responsibility of the order recipient. If you have any questions regarding overseas duties and custom charges you should contact your local customs office for more information.

PLEASE NOTE:  To comply with Australian export regulations we are required to declare the exact value of all items ordered and to mark them as dutiable ‘merchandise’. We are also prohibited by law from marking the order as a ‘gift’, even if the order is placed with the intention of sending to a gift recipient.

What if I ordered the wrong size or style?

If your order hasn’t been dispatched yet, we will just amend the order with the correct size depending on stock availability.
If your order has been dispatched, you have 30 days from when the order was placed to return it to us to exchange the size.  The item must be returned in original condition and packaging without damage, the cost of return shipping will fall to the customer.  You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
Either way get in touch with us through the CONTACT page as soon as possible.

I have received my parcel but it isn’t what I ordered, what should I do?

Please get in touch with us through the CONTACT page as soon as possible so we can organise an exchange for the correct item(s).  We will then ship out the correct item with a return postage label for the incorrect item to be returned to us.  You will need to return the incorrect item within 30 days from when the order was placed.

What if I change my mind after ordering?

If your order hasn’t been dispatched yet, we will cancel the order and issue you a store credit for the full amount.

If your order has been dispatched, you have 30 days from when the order was placed to return it to us for a store credit.  The item must be returned in original condition and packaging without damage, the cost of return shipping will fall to the customer.  You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

Either way get in touch with us through the CONTACT page as soon as possible.

There is something wrong with the product I received, what should I do?

If in a rare occurrence you receive a faulty or damaged item please get in contact with us as soon as possible through the CONTACT page within 30 days from when the order was placed, all issues are dealt with on a case by case basis.

Other important information to note regarding returns

The item(s) must be returned in a new, unworn, and unwashed condition. All original tags and packaging must still be attached and undamaged. Please also include the original invoice. Delivery costs will only be reimbursed if the wrong item was delivered or if the item was unknowingly defective.
All returned gift-boxed items must be returned in the same, or similar, cardboard shipping box they were received in, failure to do so may mean the item packaging will be damaged in the post and you may be charged $10 to cover the cost of repackaging the item.  You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
Lil’ Creatures WILL NOT exchange or return on any order placed online using this website at any of our retail stockist’s stores.
We reserve the right to refuse a product that is damaged by the recipient due to lack of care or disregard of care or washing instructions.
