Sending as a gift?  Make it even more special with our available gift options…

Gift Card:  We offer to include a FREE gift card with your purchase.  Your personal message will be hand-written on one of our beautiful folded cards, sealed in an envelope and placed at the top of the parcel.  You can select this option and add your message during the checkout process.

Gift Wrap:  Your order will be carefully wrapped in a lovely neutral paper and finished with a red bow in keeping with our style.  Our gift wrapping service is $5 and you can select this option during the checkout process.

Your gift will display no prices, including the packing slip it is shipped with.

Australian Delivery Options

We have the following 2 options for delivery in Australia.
FREE DELIVERY:  This is a service provided by Australia Post and will take 2 to 7 working days to arrive at its destination, maybe 1 or 2 more for more remote areas.  There is basic tracking included in this service, if you have not received your parcel within this timeframe, please email [email protected] and we will follow it up with Australia Post and let you know what is happening.
EXPRESS DELIVERY: This is a service provided by Australia Post and will take 1 to 2 working days to arrive at its destination, maybe more for more remote areas.  There is tracking included in this service.  Your tracking number will be emailed to you when your order is shipped and can be tracked here: www.auspost.com.au/track
LOCAL PICK-UP: Lil’ Creatures is located in New Lambton, Newcastle, NSW, so if you are close by just pop me an email to [email protected] and we can organise a time that works for pick up or even local delivery.

These delivery times are an estimate only as we use a third party supplier for all deliveries and as such Lil’ Creatures cannot be held responsible for late deliveries or loss or damage relating to late deliveries.
On occasion we will use a reputable courier service for deliveries. Tracking will always be available in these circumstances.
If the customer has requested the parcel to be left unattended at the destination then all liability falls to the customer.

International Delivery Options

We flat-rate delivery worldwide from Australia through DHL couriers and Australia Post.  We have also the option for Internation Express Courier – see below for more information.
INTERNATIONAL Flat-rate Courier:  This service is provided by our courier partners DHL or Australia Post.  Tracking and insurance are included in this service.  Your tracking number will be in our records, please email if you have not received your parcel within the given time-frame below and we will follow it up straight away.

This service is not available to all countries.  If there is an issue with this you will be emailed before your parcel is sent with what options are available instead.
Standard delivery times between metropolitan areas of major cities, excludes time in customs if applicable and may be subject to delay due to causes outside of Lil’ Creatures control.

Dispatch times - how long will my parcel take to arrive?

We usually process orders and dispatch at least three times each week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Express shipping options will be sent on the same or next business day.

How much does delivery cost?

We have 4 delivery options, the prices are listed below.  Please see the answers above in either Australian Delivery Options or International Delivery Options for more information about each.

Is there tracking on my parcel?

FREE Returns with PayPal

*Up to 4 refunds per PayPal account on eligible purchases. A cap of $45 per refund request applies.

The Service is available at no additional cost to PayPal account holders who have registered for it at www.paypal.com.au/returns.

How do I make a Refund Request?
To submit a Refund Request, submit a claim within 14 days of returning the item and attach required documentation, available at www.paypal-returns.com/hc/en-au/requests/new.
If any document is missing, you’ll need to submit it within 7 days of your initial submission.

  1. The completed online claim form submitted via www.paypal-returns.com/hc/en-au/requests/new;
  2. The confirmation email for your PayPal transaction or a screenshot of your PayPal account showing that the entire price was paid using your PayPal account and displaying the PayPal transaction ID; and
  3. A copy of your return shipment receipt that shows the amount you paid.
    1. If you use a service that tracks shipment, the receipt should also show the seller’s address;
    2. If you use regular post (with no shipment tracking), we also need a photo of the package showing the seller’s address.
  4. If the return costs were deducted from the refund of your item, we also need a copy of the refund email from the seller or PayPal, showing the amount refunded to you.

Documents must be clearly legible and emailed to [email protected]. Please keep the original documents as you may be asked to provide new copies if the copies are not sufficiently legible.

How will I be refunded?
If your Refund Request is accepted, you will receive a refund directly to your PayPal account.

How will I know if my Refund Request is accepted?
PayPal will send you a:

  • confirmation of receipt of your Refund Request: Within 1 business day
  • notice of approval or rejection of your Refund Request: Within 5 business days from the receipt of your complete request
  • refund to your PayPal account: Within 5 business days from the notice of approval of your Refund Request

Christmas / Halloween / Easter / Birthday is close, is there delivery cut off dates?

To be on the safe side, if you want your order to arrive in time for Christmas / Halloween / Easter / Birthday etc. please follow these cut off dates, if you order after these dates you run the risk of your Lil’ Creatures missing the big day.

Australia wide FREE delivery: Order at least 10 business days prior to the date needed.
Australia wide EXPRESS delivery: Order at least 4 business days prior to the date needed.

International FLAT-RATE Courier: Please see the International Delivery Options information above and to be on the safe side add a week or at least 21 days prior to the date needed.

We have express options now available also, please see above in either Australian Shipping Options or International Shipping Options for more information.

 Although we have taken this information from Australia Post themselves, we can’t control what happens after we send it, so it’s a good idea to get your orders in early to avoid any last minute stress and possible disappointment.

Undelivered Orders Information

In the event where the parcel wasn’t able to be delivered or was not collected from the post office within the time-frame Australia Post allows (5 working days) and the parcel is returned to Lil’ Creatures, the cost of re-sending the parcel to the customer will fall to the customer.
Lil’ Creatures accepts no liability for parcels left unattended.

Other Shipping & Returns Notes

The prices within the online store DO NOT include relevant overseas duties and other customs charges you may incur. All customs charges are the responsibility of the order recipient. If you have any questions regarding overseas duties and custom charges you should contact your local customs office for more information.

PLEASE NOTE:  To comply with Australian export regulations we are required to declare the exact value of all items ordered and to mark them as dutiable ‘merchandise’. We are also prohibited by law from marking the order as a ‘gift’, even if the order is placed with the intention of sending to a gift recipient.

REPACKAGING FEE:  If you have decided to return an item any reason it must be returned in the same condition as received including the gift-box where applicable.  The gift-boxed outfits must be shipped in a shipping box to protect them and ensure they arrive in a sellable condition. A $10 fee will apply to orders where repackaging is required.

What if I ordered the wrong size or style?

If your order hasn’t been dispatched yet, we will just amend the order with the correct size depending on stock availability.
If your order has been dispatched, you have 30 days from when the order was placed to return it to us to exchange the size.  The item must be returned in original condition and packaging without damage, the cost of return shipping will fall to the customer.  You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

I have received my parcel but it isn’t what I ordered, what should I do?

Please get in touch with us through the CONTACT page as soon as possible so we can organise an exchange for the correct item(s).  We will then ship out the correct item with a return postage label for the incorrect item to be returned to us.  You will need to return the incorrect item within 30 days from when the order was placed.

What if I change my mind after ordering?

If your order hasn’t been dispatched yet, we will cancel the order and issue you a store credit for the full amount.

If your order has been dispatched, you have 30 days from when the order was placed to return it to us for a store credit.  The item must be returned in original condition and packaging without damage, the cost of return shipping will fall to the customer.  You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

There is something wrong with the product I received, what should I do?

If in a rare occurrence you receive a faulty or damaged item please get in contact with us as soon as possible through the CONTACT page within 30 days from when the order was placed, all issues are dealt with on a case by case basis.
